I got into skincare late.
For most of my life, it was not something I thought about. It was not marketed to me, and it did not feel relevant. I started using my partner's products a few years ago. They worked. The results were clear. But the process was difficult to follow.
There were too many steps. Too many products. No clear structure. Trying to build my own routine made that gap obvious.
The problem was not that skincare did not work. The problem was that it was not built for how most men operate. Men do not want complex routines. They want something simple, effective, and easy to stick to.
That is where Macros comes from.
We treat skin as a system. The focus is on fewer, better inputs that work together. The responsibility of managing complexity should sit with the brand, not the user.
If the system is clear, people will follow it.
Skin responds to what you do consistently. It does not need more products. It needs the right structure. Most skincare is built in parts. Each product solves one thing. The user is expected to combine them.
We do not work that way.
Macros treats skin as a system. Hydration, protection, and repair work together. The goal is to make that system simple enough to follow every day. The brand handles the complexity. The user follows the system.
Fewer products. Clear roles. Consistent use. That is how skin improves over time.

No noise. Just clear inputs with measurable functions and honest outcomes.
Because skin evolves, we
continuously refine our standards to build stronger barrier performance over time.

The decisions behind both formulations.
Most brands list ingredients without explaining why they chose them or what they considered and rejected.
These are the reasons behind both products.
Creams sit on the skin surface. A gel absorbs fast and leaves nothing behind, which matters when the product has to go on in 30 seconds before the day starts. It also sits better under a beard.
SPF 30 filters approximately 97% of UVB under controlled conditions. SPF 50 gets you to about 98%. In practice the gap is small, and SPF 50 formulations tend to be heavier and more likely to leave a white cast. An SPF 30 applied every day does more than an SPF 50 applied when you remember. We built it for daily use.
Retinol increases photosensitivity. Putting it on before a full day of UV exposure works against itself. Peptide Complex supports collagen signalling without that problem. Right active, right time.
A liquid serum needs a face wash first, then application, then a few minutes to absorb. Three steps that most men skip at least half the time. The wipe handles cleansing and serum delivery together. Micellar water lifts oil and buildup as the wipe moves across the skin, and the actives deposit at the same time. No rinse means they stay. One step that happens every night beats three steps that happen twice a week.
Retinol at effective concentrations in a leave-on overnight format causes irritation for a significant portion of users, particularly early on. Bakuchiol activates similar pathways and produces comparable outcomes in collagen gene expression, without the tolerance build-up or the irritation risk. Better fit for this format.
Toners correct the pH disruption caused by soap-based cleansers. Micellar water does not disrupt pH. There is nothing to correct. A toner in this system would be a step with no job.
No charcoal. It works as a surface abrasive. The Detox stack in the RC Wipes works through a different mechanism, at a cellular level. Charcoal is not the same thing as detox.
No claims we cannot support. Every ingredient in both products is there for a specific reason at a functional concentration. If the reason is not clear, the ingredient does not go in.
No repackaged women's skincare. The Macros system was built from the ground up around what men who don't want a complex routine actually need. Not an existing product in different packaging.
No transformation promises. Skin fitness is not a 30-day result. It builds across months of consistent use. We will not tell you otherwise because it would not be true.
No filler ingredients dressed up to make the list look longer. What is on the label is what does the work.
